How might we design the ultimate matcha experience with contemporary technologies and design?

UX Study

My UX study revealed that making matcha requires multiple dishes, whisking causes splashes, and it’s difficult to fully scrape the matcha from the bowl.

Solution

An all-in-one machine, inspired by the convenience of a coffee maker. It features a built-in water reservoir and a detachable pot where the matcha is sifted, mixed, and dispensed. The user would also get to control the amount of water being mixed, and the temperature of the water.

Inspiration

Through silhouette and blocking, I locked in my system architecture.
